Jalan Raya Latumenten Needs Repair

Local citizens have complained this condition due to it is very dangerous

The condition of a road around railroad crossings located on Jalan Raya Latumenten, West Jakarta, is worrying. Almost all roads have damaged and perforated, causing traffic congestion at rush hour.

Rangga, (24), a citizen of RT 07/08 Kali Anyar Urban Village, Tambora Sub-District, West Jakarta, disclosed that the damaged road has been in exist since 6 months ago. The motorists often fall when passing the railroad crossing during rainy season.

70 Percent of Damaged Roads in Central Jakarta Repaired

"Local citizens have complained this condition due to it is very dangerous," he complained, Tuesday (9/9).

The motorists, he continued, must be careful and vigilant because of uneven road surfaces which could damage the vehicle body. The condition is worsened with unavailable of train doorstop. 

Head of Kali Anyar Urban Village, Dodo Supendi disclosed his side has coordinated with West Jakarta Road Public Works Sub-Department to discuss such condition. "They said that will repair the damaged railroad crossings soon," he expressed.

The road had been repaired in June 2013, but it was damaged again.
